Vintage Wallpaper

So I guess I wasn't back on Saturday to show you this awesome picture that features the Vintage Wallpaper folder for the Big Shot.
This is the awesome bag that I received at Leadership.  It will make a really nice purse once the nice weather appears.  The wallet was an item in Momento Mall that was available to purchase so I had to get it to match the purse.
On the inside of the purse, there is this cool embellishment - it is a piece of the rubber from our stamps with Stampin' Up! written in it.  How cool!!!
Check back tomorrow for another card creation.

It's so sparkly...

This is another card we made at club this month.  It is a Valentine's Day card and would be suitable for anyone.
The heart is punched out from the glimmer paper that can be found in the Occasions mini.  I actually received this paper for FREE when I was at Leadership as well as a package of glimmer brads and the Champagne Glass Glitter.  The cardstock colours are Whisper White and Real Red.  We used the scallop square punch for the Pink Pirouette Cardstock and the Real Red dsp.  The base of the card was put through the big shot using the Vintage Wallpaper folder (and I will have something cool to show you tomorrow that has the same pattern).  We added Real Red grosgrain ribbon and the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Punch Bunch

This card uses one of the Sale-a-Bration sets called Punch Bunch.  Every stamp in this set coordinates with one of the punches.  This is a club card for this month.
The cardstock colours are Pacific Point, So Saffron, and Whisper White.  I used Pear Pizzaz ribbon as the stem and leaves.  You can see that I also used the NEW and FABULOUS Tulips embossing folder on the So Saffron cardstock.  It makes such a great frame.  It can be found in the Occasions mini.
Remember that for every $60 order you place before shipping and taxes, you can choose a free Sale-a-Bration item.  It would also be a fantastic time to book a workshop or to join my Dare to Stamp team!

Sale-a-Bration Part 2: Become a Demonstrator

It is hard for me to believe that I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for almost 5 years.  I have loved every minute of it and have made some great friends from it.  I have been to 2 Conventions and 1 Leadership and many stamping days.  I look forward to what Stampin' Up! has to offer me in the future.
I have always been a crafty person and in September of 2005, I attended my first Stampin' Up! workshop.  From there, I was hooked.  I booked my own workshop for February 2006 and attended a few classes and an open house.  I decided at the open house that I wanted to be a demonstrator.  I have met many people who I am happy to call my friends now and I really love sharing what I do and showing people how they can create handmade 'things' and that it isn't really that hard!!!
During Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up! is offering a special on the starter kit to become a demonstrator.  The kit is 15% off ($182.50) and you get a special bundle worth $60 that is somewhat customizable.  I have recently grown my Dare to Stamp team and I know that we would love to have you join us.  If you are interested in attending a team meeting, I have one coming up on February 4 and would love to have you join us.  Just let me know.  If there is anything I can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Treat Box

While at Leadership, my friend Heather, came running into our room and told us to close our eyes and she left a pillow gift for us.
This cute little box is made using the Petal Cone die found in the Occasions Mini.  She cut some off the bottom to make a little take-out box.  She used Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped it first with an image from the set Eat Chocolate.  She made the tag from the same stamp set and tied the Real-Red striped grosgrain ribbon around it.  It was filled with chocolate pretzels!!  A very cute way to give a little treat.  I don't have this die yet but it is on my wish list to get starting tomorrow when for every $60 order you can choose a free product from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to view the brochure online.

For You Card

It is a good day to stay inside and stamp...have to keep your hands warm somehow!  This card is the one that I made at Leadership in the make 'n take session.  It uses the stamp set Clearly for You which we received there.
The cardstock colours are Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, More Mustard, Old Olive, Soft Suede, and Whisper White for the little butterfly.  The bottom of the card was put through the crimper and then we rubbed the Versamark pad across it to make the folds stand out more.  A very cool technique that I didn't know about!  I really like how all the colours go together in this card.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for another cool creation!

Help Wanted!

I had a great time at Leadership in Nashville.  The days were jam-packed and I didn't have a chance to post while I was gone.  I am still working on digesting all the ideas and information I got from being there.  I was especially excited to be able to attend the Manager's Reception on Wednesday night.  Stampin' Up! keeps it a surprise and only eligible demonstrators can attend.  We all loaded onto busses and arrived at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville.  There we had a buffet, had line dancing lessons, and were entertained by some great country singers.

One of the most exciting things that we were given was a FREE starter kit to give to someone by this Friday.  This is $400 worth of product.  I would like to offer it to someone who  has the intention of really giving an hoest attempt at being a demonstrator.  Contact me for more info and do it quick!!

Roommate Gifts

So I am waiting at the airport for my flight to Nashville.  Luckily it is one of the one's that is not cancelled or delayed.  I am so excited because tonight I get to attend Manager's Reception.  I have no idea what I will be doing because Stampin' Up! is keeping it a secret but I am sure it will be amazing!
I will be staying with a group of girls, two of whom I stayed with during convention this past summer.  Here is a picture of the gift that I made for all of them.
These are the silver tins that Stampin' Up! had in the clearance rack before Christmas.  They may still be there but I'm not sure.  I decorated the outside of the tins with the Sunny Garden dsp and then wrapped each of the chocolates with the dsp as well.  I wrapped the tins with either the Pear Pizzazz Poly-Stitch ribbon or the new Pear Pizzazz seam binding.  I hope that they like them!
I will hopefully be able to share some more but I have a very busy schedule while I am away so will do my best.

I am back..

WOW, it has been a long time since I posted and I am very sorry about that.  I have been sick for about 4 weeks and was at emerg again last night to get antibiotics for a throat infection.  Gavin and Scott were also sick over Christmas so we are really hoping that everyone is finally on the mend.
I am currently in Toronto so that I can catch my flight to Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference in Nashville tomorrow morning.  I will try to keep you updated because I am sure there will be lots of news!!
Anyways, the Occasions Mini is out and it is AMAZING!!!!  There are soo many great products in it that you won't know where to stop!  If you do not have a mini yet, let me know and I will send one out to you when I return.  In the meantime, you can view the mini online by clicking the picture below.

I will be back tomorrow with something to show you...finally!
