All Fixed!

So, our computer issue is finally fixed.  It has been a long month dealing with all of that.  In the long run, I ended up having to get a new laptop as mine had so much wrong with it.  We were able to get our other computers fixed up though so that is good.  I have something to show you today but I am still learning this new computer!
Also wanted to remind you that I still have 3 spots left in my Christmas Stamp Camp.
This was a swap card I received at the Hamilton Regional.  I will be posting lots of Christmas samples in the coming weeks.  This card uses the awesome snowflake embossing folder.

Uh-oh!

Haven't been on lately because our computers have been taken over by some crazy virus thing that we can't get rid off :( One computer is at the doctors and the other one is very slow and selective in what it lets me do. We are doing our best to get back up and running.  I can't show you any pictures today, sorry, but on another note, I still have 3 spots left in the Christmas Stamp Camp on November 6.  If you scroll down to previous posts, you will see the info there.  Would love to have you join us for lots of stamping fun, food, and prizes!!!!

Cute Christmas

When I attended Stampin' Up!'s Regional event in September, I was very fortunate to receive a swap card from Carrie Cudney who is an employee of Stampin' Up!  She does stamping presentations and has a very calm, caring manner.  This is the cute card she gave me.
It uses the stamp set A Cute Christmas and the matching dsp, Candy Cane Christmas.  I really like how she did the little paper ruffle at the bottom.

This is sooo cool!!

Edited:  So I had this post scheduled to post Saturday morning but apparently my computer was playing tricks!

I said I would show you the third project we did at my monthly stamp night.  It is so cool and I was very happy that I could make it!  Let me know what you think!
So you are probably wondering what is so cool about this.  It just looks like a square piece of dsp with a button and ribbon, but....

when you unfold it, you get this neat star that can be used on your Christmas tree.  I am going to try to provide some detailed instructions and pictures in the next couple of days.  Maybe I will even be able to figure out how to do a video and post that!!!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Today I am in Hanover at The Home Party Show Shopping Extravaganza.  I hope to see some of you there.

Stamp Night Projects

Last night I held my monthly stamp night and we had a great time making 3 projects.  I have 2 to share with today and the other one tomorrow.
When I first saw this technique, I loved it so decided my 'girls' should know how to do it.  It is called de-bossing.  We punched out the flowers and adhered them to the Whisper White cardstock.  We then put all of this through the Big Shot using the square lattice embossing folder.  It makes it look like one sheet of cardstock instead of the flowers attached to the paper.  We added some super yummy Pear Pizzazz ribbon to finish it off.  Most girls added a greeting in the bottom corner and I would suggest that you stamp that on before you put in through the Big Shot.  The cardstock colours are Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, and Daffodil Delight for the center of the flowers.

This second card uses the stamp set Just Believe (I am not sure why the picture is so blurry on here).  This card is very elegant but was very quick to make.  The colour we used is Concord Crush which is a very deep purple.  We added some dsp to the side and used the new ribbon border punch to add a bit more detail beside the dsp.  The main flower image is layered on top of a piece of vellum and there are 2 pearls on the flowers as well as on the greeting tag which was punched out using the modern label punch.
If you are interested in joining us at our monthly stamp night, you are welcome to come but you must make a $25 purchase.  If you want to make it a monthly committment, then you are eligible to receive hostess benefits as well!
If you are in the Hanover area tomorrow, I will be at the Home Party Show Shopping Extravaganza taking place from 10am-3pm at the Legion.  I will have lots of retired things for sale!

What is that?

First off, be sure to check out all the deal on the Clearance Rack. This huge blitz is over on October 18 and there are still LOTS of deals to be had. I placed my order last night and got 18 items for around $50. Items are going fast! To check it out, click here.

Also, remember that the registration for my Christmas Stamp Camp is almost closed.  There are still a couple of spots left and you won't want to miss out.  To view the details, click here.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for my club night projects.  I really love all 3 projects that we will make this month!

You may be wondering what all of these are?!?!  Well, on October 3, I particpated in the Owen Sound Welcome Wagon Bridal Show.  I had to make something to put in all the brides gift bag that they received, so...
I made these sour cream containers with hershey's chocolate kisses in them.  It was a tedious task but they got finished and I was very happy with how they turned out.  Here is all 75 of them!

Peaceful Season

This was one of my favourite swap cards that I received at Regionals a couple of weeks ago.  It uses the Level 2 hostess set in the Holiday Mini called Peaceful Season.  If you would like to get this set, contact me to book your workshop now.
I would like to give a shout-out to my newest team member!  Because she signed up, I am now a Senior Consultant and I am able to give our team a name except I am struggling with a fun and creative name.  If you think you have a name for us, send me an email and if I use your suggestion, I will give you a gift!
Have a great Friday.

Cute Halloween Projects

Last night I had my first ever Kids Halloween Class.  The kids really liked making the projects and the class went well so I will be planning some more kids classes in the future!
We made 2 treat boxes, a card, and 4 little critters.
These were the two treats boxes.  The pumpkin is made using the milk carton die and the witch is made using the fancy favour treat box as the base and then the top note die as the witch face.  All the face pieces are punched out using a variety of Stampin' Up! punches.
These four critters were made with Stampin' Up! punches and then mounted on round chocolates that I found at the dollar store.  These were very quick and easy to make and th googly eyes make them soo cute!

If there are other kids or adults interested in taking this class, I will offer it again before Halloween.  Send me and email to let me know.

World Teacher Day

I am on the Sunshine Committee at school and determined that today is World Teacher Day so last night I decided to make up these little treats for the staff at school from the Sunshine Fund.  I love being able to make little gifts and to have all the supplies to do it with short notice!

I used the milk carton die for the Big Shot to cut these out and then used the new decorative label punch to write our message on.  It only took me about an hour total to cut out, assemble, and fill these 21 little treat containers.

And if that wasn't enough...

Stampin' Up! has set a goal to recruit 10000 demonstrators in 2010 and I sure would love to help with this goal.  Stampin' Up! has announced some great incentives to get more demonstrators and I am happy to share them with you.  This is the best time to join because they are pulling out all the stops for new recruits and demonstrators who have people join their team.
Announced while I was at the Regional, Stampin' Up! will give you a free stamp set called "Eat Chocolate".  Now you won't find this in your current catalogue because this set will be from the Occasions Mini which comes out next year! (Shh...here are some samples from the boards at Regional of the new set)

Also, Stampin' Up! is still offering new demos the fabulous Greenhouse Gala craft tote.  It holds lots of supplies including 12x12 cardstock and is very stylish and practical.
I would LOVE to have you join my team.  I will help you get started in your new hobby or business by providing you with training and inspiration as well as motivation when you need it.  To discuss this opportunity more, contact me today!
