Since the time is rolling around to bridal showers and wedding, I wanted to share this card with you. It was created by the Stampin' Up! design team. This card uses the stamp set For the Bride. I really like how they have added a thin piece of whisper white cardstock around the 'cake' and they cut out the cake layers and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. The little blue flower is from Flower Fusion Too accents and elements with a silver brad in the middle which adds a nice focal point.

Card samples from Assortment Class
Last Wednesday I had an assortment card class where the participants made 4 cards. I posted the first 2 samples a little while ago but here are the other 2 that we did. The ladies were super quick at the class and did a great job. The cards that we made at this class are amongst some of my favs. This card uses Embrace Life stamp set. The colours are Close to Cocoa and Regal Rose. We used a Filigree Brad and tied the ribbon in a knot through the brad and then pulled it back through. We also embossed the flower image and cut it out and added some glitter.
This card features the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper which is available for FREE when you place a $60 order until the end of March. This card uses one of my favourite stamp sets, Flight of the Butterfly.
Here is a picture of how the butterfly card opens. We also stamped some small butterflies and flowers on the inside of this card.
If you are interested in joining a stamp club, I have another one starting in April. See the link on the left hand side for more info or email me.

Regional Samples
Here are 2 cards that I made while at the Stampin' Up! Regional last weekend.
Both cards use the stamp set Soft Summer which will be available in the Occasions Mini which is released on April 1 (no joke!). You can get your Occasions mini from me at the Home Party Show on April 4 at the Port Elgin Legion from 10am -4pm. The show is free admission and there are door prizes and I will have a make 'n take project for you. I will also post a link on the right hand side on here for you to use.
Okay, on to the card pictures.
For this card, we coloured directly on the stamp with the Stampin' Write markers and then used the Aquapainter to blend the colours and make it look more like it was watercoloured. I really like how this card came out. This card also uses a watercolouring technique. We coloured directly on the stamp with Watercolour Wonder Crayons and then lightly misted the stamp with water before stamping it. My image wasn't exact but it turned out ok. I really like the eyelet border punch that we used on the bottom of the designer series paper and the little Chocolate Chip library clip adds the perfect touch.Sunday, March 15, 2009
London Regional
Yesterday I was at Stampin' Up!'s Regional seminar in London. It was a great day and I got to see so many great new ideas and learn some new tips and tricks. I look forward to sharing them with you.
I took 54 swap cards with me and I got some super ones back. I will have them on display in my stamp room when you come.
To the left is one of the swap cards that I took with me. It uses the Sweet Stem stamp set that I embossed with black embossing powder. I used Raspberry Tart designer series paper on the bottom and Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon on the side.
I had the privilege of sitting with Caroline Lebel and her Canadians, Ink! team at the event. Caroline is one of the top demonstrators in Canada and I look up to her with great respect. She joined Stampin' Up! when it was introduced in Canada and she has never looked back. She is a great inspiration to me and I hope to take my business to a higher level because of her.
We got the chance to make 5 projects yesterday. I only had time to totally finish one so I will get the other ones finished and post some pictures for you to view. They were great projects.

Swap Card for London Regional
I am super excited to be attending Stampin' Up!'s regional event in London tomorrow! I will get to meet up with lots of demonstrators from all over Ontario and some from the States as well. One of my favourite things to do is swap cards with other demonstrators.
Here is one of the cards I will be swapping.
I created this frog using Stampin' Up!'s great punches. It might be hard to tell in the picture, but I created the waves using Crystal Effects. I think this little guy would be great on a new baby card or a birthday card for a child.

2 More Birthday Cards
Here are the other 2 cards from the Birthday Card class this past Saturday. This card uses the Sock Monkey stamp set. I thought that this one would be great for kids because it is fun and bright!
This second card uses the Sweet Stems stamp set which is only $19.95 and you get 4 cute flower images. We used some of the Raspberry Tart designer series paper on the bottom and a build-a-brad for the accent on the left hand side.
Remember that Sale-a-bration continues until the end of March. For every $60 order (before shipping and taxes) you can choose of the SAB item for free. See the brochure on the left hand side. Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack
Yesterday afternoon I held my Birthday card stamp-a-stack. Here are some of the cards that we made.
This card uses the Polka Dot Punches stamp set which can be chosen for FREE when you place a $60 order during Sale-a-Bration. SAB ends March 31 so you still have time. This second card uses the stamp set Party Hearty. We also used some punches to create the dots.
This third card doesn't have much stamping on it. We used the big shot to cut out all of the pieces except the greeting which we used the small tag punch. This card was very easy but looks great.
