Elements of Style

This was another card that we made at our May stamp club. This stamp set is so elegant and beautiful. I will be using it a lot.

The stamp set is called Elements of Style and is in the Summer Mini. We stamped the image using Stazon ink onto watercolour paper and then used markers and blenders pens to colour it in. We used the organza ribbon and colour matched it to our flowers by colouring it with the markers. You can see some sparkles on this card and this was made by using Smooch Spritz which is also found in the Summer Mini and is great for adding a little extra to your projects. Smooch Spritz comes in 4 different colours.

Be sure to check back tomorrow as the Last Chance List of stamps and accessories is out.

Yummy!

Sorry about not posting yesterday. We were busy landscaping our front yard and enjoying the beautiful weather. This card is one we made at our May stamp club. If you are interested in joining a stamp club, please contact me and I can fill you in on the details. Now is a great time to join as you would receive the new catalogue in July and you could get new product for FREE!

This card uses the cute new set Sweet Scoops from the Summer Mini. If you don't have a Summer Mini yet, let me know and I can send one off to you. We cut out the ice cream image and stuck it on the card with a Stampin' dimensional to give it a 3-d look. The base of the card is Bermuda Bay which will be retiring on June 30 so if you love it, you better stock up now!

The last chance to enter my retiring stamp set contest is tomorrow by 8pm. To view the details, click here.

Enjoy your day.

Babies, Babies,Babies

May seems to be a baby month! Four friends/family have had babies in the past few weeks so I have been needing to make lots of baby cards.

This was the card I made for my neice Nelia who was born on May 2nd. I used the Big Shot and cut out the scallop circles. I then used my Circle Cutter to cut out the inside circle and created a punched sheep for the front.

I have only had one person enter my retiring stamp set contest so it looks like she may win whether she has any correct responses or not! This contest is so easy. Just pick out 10 sets from the current catalogue that you will think will be retiring and email me your choices by May 30. You could win a $20 gift certificate for Stampin' Up! product of your choice.

Elmo

A couple of weeks ago my little boy turned 2. Wow, where does the time go? Anyways, Gavin is into Elmo right now so I created Elmo invitations for his birthday.I used the Big Shot and the scallop circle die to create Elmo's head. The eyes, month, and nose were punched out from different sizes of circle punches. Super cute and easy!
Now to brag for a moment. Scott is very creative in many different ways and he made this AWESOME cake for Gavin's party.

I really love to have you stop by and while you're here, why not leave me a comment. Also, if you haven't already, you can enter your email address in the top left corner of the blog and you will receive an email everytime I post on here. I have lots more to share with you this week!
Also make sure to get your entry into my Retiring Stamp Set Contest. Scroll down for more details.

Punch Book Class

Last night I held the second part of my Punch Book Class. Participants received a 5"x5" art journal, glue pen, and Basic Black Stampin' Write marker at the first class. We created 20 punched creations to fill our book. On the front of the page, we made the 'recipe' for the punched creation and on the back of the page, we made a completed creation. Here are 2 pages from the book.I sent out a mini newsletter to all those subscribed to my mailing list about my contest and a special to join a stamp club. I am having some trouble with newsletters being bounced back so if you did not receive the newsletter and know you are on my list, please let me know.
Be sure to read the post below to enter a super easy contest.
Enjoy the sunshine!

Bird Punch

This was one of the stamp club cards in April. It uses the Bird Punch and the Scallop edge punch which were featured in the Occasions Mini but Stampin' Up! has decided to carry them over so they are still available! This is a simple but elegant card for Mother's Day.

Summer Mini and National Scrapbooking Month

Welcome to May and what a beautiful day to enjoy! The Summer Mini is out today and there are some beautiful new stamp sets and products. If you are reading this through an email, go to my blog to see the new mini posted on the right hand side.

May is also National Scrapbooking Month. This month, if you purchase select stamp sets, you can get a free package of designer brads. Click on the button on the right hand side for more details.

Also a note that any colours that are retiring are available only while supplies last. I do believe that a couple of colours have already sold out so make sure to place your order asap. Now is also a good time to set a date with me to host a workshop for when the new catalogue comes out in July so you can earn new FREE product.
