2 More Christmas Cards

Here are the other 2 cards that we made at my Christmas Card stamp-a-stack this past weekend. This first card uses the Big Shot die cut machine. The card colour is Bravo Burgundy with Always Artichoke on top of it. Next I used the Top Note die to cut out the Naturals white piece. The words are from the Join in the Cheer decorative strip die and the bird is from the Birds and Blossoms sizzlet dies.

This second card is my favourite one that we made. It uses an acetate sheet as the card base. Acetate sheets can be purchased from a store such as Staples. It is a bit difficult to see in the picture but there are snowflakes stamped all over the acetate sheet using white Stazon ink which is a permanent ink that can be used on materials such as wood and plastic. The colours I used are Bashful Blue, Basic Black, and Whisper White. The stamp set used is called Big on Christmas and it was stamped using Basic Black ink and then coloured in using the Many Marvelous Markers. The added accent is the silver cord which is in the Holiday mini.

Thanks to all of the ladies that came out on Saturday. We had a good time making cards and socializing. I hope to have a gift class in the near future. I will post some pictures soon.
